The objective of this studio was to propose a design for an urban park. Springfield’s Court Square Park presented an opportunity for park design that had to consider the multitude of elements that create the urban fabric. The challenge was also the opportunity, to bring together the rich past and contemporary elements shaping the park and formulate a design that is successful in meeting the present and future needs of the park users. The work has been produced in a 7 week period of studio time.
